The "Forum" link above has been changed to take you to the
Canadian Amateur Built Forum which Michael Shields has put up for all to use. Let's make good use of this and get some activity going!

Saturday August 5th

Les McInnis from Stoney Creek made it to Edenvale.
A short trip when you have 260 hp and cruise at 230 mph.

Tom Martin brought his EVO from the Rocket factory in St Thomas.
Looks kind of FW190ish from the rear with that beautiful wing.

Saturday July 29th

Paternal twins, C-GOJU and C-GFLG on the ramp at Peninsulair's breakfast in Hamilton. Mike Shields converted his RV to a taildragger a few weeks ago. Click on the picture above for a few more photos from Mike.

Saturday at the Oshawa - Canadian Aviation Expo

Sunday April 30th

Time for Recurrency Training at Hanover. I got to the airport just after lunch and managed to catch a few RV's still on the field.

Don Hersey's plane was up for the first time on Thursday March 30, 2006. A slightly heavy right wing was the only airframe squawk. The alternator developed a short while in flight causing an overvoltage situation. The alternator is now repaired and installed on the plane. Congratulations Don!

in his RV-4, somewhere over Lake Simcoe

Here's another successful first flight for the books.

C-FRVF took to the sky on Aug. 14, 2005 from the runways of The Brampton Flying Club (NC3), Brampton, Ontario, Canada. After the 1.3 hr first flight, we knew we had a winner. Absolutely no bad habits at all. Our regular build kit took approximately 18 months to build from start to painted and flying. RV-7A, C-FRVF, AeroSport 0-360, Hartzell 3 blade. The panel includes the BIG-6 flight instruments, Trio Avionics autopilot, NAV/COM/GS/LOC and GPS. Grand Rapids Engine Monitor. Empty weight came in at 1127 lbs with the W/B about as perfect as it could be.

The first RV to arrive in Collingwood for the Gathering of the Classics belongs to Barry Tunzelmann who took a couple of days to come from Salmon Arm BC
